How does portability work?

In Mexico, portability keeps your number. It is requested with your portability PIN (get it by dialing 051 from your current line). After the process, you scan the eSIM QR in Settings → Cellular → Add plan.

Requirements

An eSIM-compatible phone (the EID appears) and unlocked.
Your portability PIN and account-holder details.
WiFi when installing the eSIM.
