What is this service?

Untethered bypass of the Activation Lock (iCloud) on Intel Macs with the Apple T2 security chip (roughly 2018-2020 models). It covers up to BridgeOS 9.x and lets you install macOS.

How is it done?

  1. Restore the T2 machine to the latest BridgeOS.
  2. Boot it until you see the lock screen; do not connect WiFi.
  3. Open the tool and put it in DFU mode to do the bypass.
  4. When finished, boot the Mac; you can now install macOS.

It is done with T2 tools such as Mina T2, SMD T2, iRemove T2, LU T2 or LPRO T2 Infinity.

Untethered?

Yes: the bypass survives reboot (no need to repeat it every time you power on).

Important conditions

  • Only for Macs with a T2 chip (Intel); it does not apply to M1/M2/M3 (see the FMI OFF for Apple Silicon).
  • The official method is for the previous owner to remove it via Find My or Apple with proof of purchase.
